I am surprisingly handy. Most people are shocked when I tell them I spent the evening replacing a sump pump or changing light fixtures. I am also weirdly fast at changing a flat tire.
My Most Unbelievable Moment in Real Estate
I always check the disclosures before a showing, so I was shocked when the basement of a home that ticked off all the boxes for a client had active flooding from the rain outside, as well as obvious signs of past water intrusion and repair.
Favorite Place in Chicagoland
Ping Tom Park. It is the perfect place to forget that you are in the city, but also has some of the best views of downtown. When I lived in Pilsen I used to bike down all the time to read by the quarry or run up the hill. I still love to take visitors up there to take photos with the skyline in the background.
